Chapter 26. Small Details

Prince Harad's POV

The more we distance ourselves from the girls, the more I feel like it wasn't such a good idea to leave them behind.

We must leave Crescent Moon at once; the pack will be investigated once we have informed the King of what has transpired here. Although Dimitri is my friend, this mistake is too grave to overlook. As long as Cissy and Xanne remain lone wolves in this area, he will not evade punishment.

When we arrive at the packhouse, the Beta is waiting for us on the porch.

“Your Majesties, we missed you at breakfast. But fortunately, you arrived in time for lunch," he greeted us kindly. “We can have an apéritif while the Omegas serve our meal at the table.”

He leads us to a back terrace where a well stocked bar is set up.

To our surprise, Alpha Dimitri was not there. We had thought he had sent the Beta ahead to get us, but apparently not.

“Beta Naria, where is the Alpha?” I inquired, somewhat annoyed. "I thought I would
