“Warrior, escort her to the interrogation room,” I commanded the guard.
The man took the Alpha female by the arm and guided her out of the cell to a room at the end of the hallway. Arriving there, he shoved her into a chair, while I positioned myself opposite to her.
“Tell me, how were the weeks spent in the cell?” I started. "I hope they treated you well and the food was adequate.” I struggled to suppress any trace of scorn from my voice or keep a neutral expression on my face.
“You know better, my Prince,” she answered. “But I'm sure you didn't bring me here to talk about the food in this prison. You could also discuss this with the chef."
