Alpha Female Ciciane's POV Again

It was the incessant shaking of my body that brought me back to my senses.

When I look around, I become acutely aware of the fact that I am lying in the backseat of a car that is speeding at a breakneck pace down the road. Through the car window, I see trees rushing by, it is all forest with tall trees.

Feeling tired, I try to sit up, but the dizziness keeps me down. Groaning in discomfort, I make another effort to rise when suddenly the car comes to an abrupt stop and jolts me forward. Rolling over onto my back again, I come face-to-face with none other than Amira.

“Cissy!” she sighed in relief. “I'm so glad you're back. Your disappearance caused the Kingdom to spiral into chaos and Harad's wolf is running rampant through Crescent Moon and Human Town in search of you. He wants you back!”

I sink into the plush cushions of the back seat, seeking to clear my mind.

And then I remember it all over again.
