Chapter 130. I Can’t Be With You

Caliana’s POV

My mate was glaring at me, I struggled out of his arms but he held me in place.

”Can you please let me go?” I hissed, smiling at the Alpha Milan and Luna kelly who glanced our way

”Why? So that you can go to him?” He retorted “ What were you and Michael talking about?”

”None of your concern,” I spat and he dug a claw into my side, causing me to wince in pain.

”You’re forgetting who you’re talking to,”

”Oh, Alpha, I never do,” I said and forcibly got out of his grip. I interacted with our guests for a while but he kept following me. He caught me and held my arm, taking me to a corner away from many eyes.

”What were you doing at the prison?”

”Doing my duties as Luna, isn’t that why I was bought?” He loses his stoic expression after my words and what resembles disappointment and hurt crossed his handsome features. He inhaled.

”Tell me the truth, did you tell the Warden that Candace tried to kill you?” He growled
