I told Ellis the truth. It was like a heavy burden was lifted off me. His reaction was priceless. So many emotions.

He was so close after I told him. I didn’t know he’d react the way he did at all. The truth didn’t only set me free but him as well. There was a faint smile on his lips as we parted, and his eyes... OH, GODDESS THOSE EYES.

I was deep into my work when I received a call from the head of HR, Michael. He wanted to see me in his office. I tried to avoid him. I made my way to his office and knocked once. I heard a come in and entered. He watched me with pursed lips.
