Chapter 478. My Mate Doesn’t Like Me

Jamila POV

I’m feeling uneasy, and butterflies are swirling in my stomach as Blade and Drake take me to the castle where my mate is staying. I think I’m going to get sick. I inhale and exhale, my heart still pounding. My gaze catches Drake’s in the passenger seat through the rearview mirror. I send him a small, nervous smile, but his face is blank. Like Lilibet, he doesn’t like me.

Nicholas’s residence, the Black Castle, is about twenty minutes from the main pack.

“This is crazy, man,” Drake murmurs.

“Yeah, they are literally forcing him to stay with her for six months,” Blade sighs.

“Then why are you smiling?” he frowns.

“I don’t know, Drake, I just have a good feeling about Jamila here,” he flashes me a smile through the mirror. I smile back at him. At least someone doesn’t hate me and want me gone.
