“Have fun on your date.” That’s what he had said.

She crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes. “Why are you being so weird about this? It’s just a ride home.”

Lucas scoffed, running a frustrated hand through his hair. “Because I brought you here, so I am taking you back. Since when have you had a problem accepting rides from me?”
