Book 1: Chapter 17

The next morning Enzo got ready for the day and headed out to meet with Lombardi. Last night, he had been talking to one of Lombardi's sons when Gabriella distracted him. 

He had tried to leave as early as possible to avoid meeting up with Luca but he found Luca waiting outside with Alejandro by the car. 

Bowing his head with a smile, Luca greeted, "Morning Your Royal Highness, did you sleep well?" 

Enzo stared at him indifferently, after the stunt he pulled yesterday with Gabriella he wasn't pleased with Luca."I was under the impression that you had left already," Enzo said. 

Luca nodded, "Yes, but I thought it best we discuss on the way about last night to clear the air of any misconception."

"Very well," Enzo replied briefly, Alejandro opened the back door bowing his head slightly to Enzo. 

"Good morning Boss," Alejandro greeted but he got no response from Enzo, Enzo stepped into the back seat with Luca.
