Book 2: Chapter 64
Martina headed out of the mansion and got into her car. She drove out and drove through the city streets, her mind racing. She needed to find out the truth, and the best place to start was the police station where she suspected Antonio and the others had been taken.
As she neared the station, her heart pounded in her chest. She could see a crowd of reporters and onlookers gathered outside, their cameras flashing as they tried to get a glimpse of the arrested men. Martina barely managed to find a parking spot and quickly exited her car, making her way towards the entrance.
Her eyes scanned the crowd, searching for any sign of Antonio. Just as she was about to push her way through the throng of people, she saw him. Antonio was being escorted out of the station by several officers, along with some of Ares's men. Martina's heart leaped into her throat as she recognized the familiar faces.
Without thinking, she broke into a run, yelling Antonio's name. "Antonio! Antonio
