Martina rolled over on the soft, creaking bed and slowly opened her eyes. The light filtering through the thin curtains cast a gentle glow across the wooden walls of the cabin. It was still early, the morning sun had not yet fully risen, but the peaceful quiet of dawn enveloped the room. As her eyes adjusted to the light, she saw Antonio sitting on the edge of the bed, watching her closely.
