I was about to ask what was wrong when Sin walked inside the kitchen as if he were looking for me and sighed when his eyes landed on mine. He walks to me with a smile on his face and kisses the top of my head.
“How are you feeling?” he asked.
“I’m okay, still a little bit nauseous, but okay,” I reassured him. I didn’t want him to be worried.
“Let me call the doctor, just to be sure.” Sin brought out his phone from his pocket, ready to dial and call their family doctor, but I stopped him.
“It’s okay, you don’t need to trouble anyone because of minor nausea,” I tried reasoning with him.
“It’s not a problem; we pay him to take care of anyone in the family; it’s his job.” Sin counters back, referring to the doctor.
“Let’s do this; why don’t we wait until tomorrow? If it persists, then you can call him.” I bargained. Sin scanned my face, trying to see if I was really okay or not. “Please…”
