The entire hall went silent around me. I could already tell that Anastasia was smirking at me. Maybe, she had already seen through how fucked up our relationship was. A bowl of bucket water froze me as soon as his words fell out,

“Miss Stevens is very beautiful. It’s an honor to feel attracted by her.”

I blinked a few times in disbelief. He got with the answer just like that, confident, arrogant and creepy. It was something like he was already prepared for the tricky questions that those reporters made for him. Now, I was more convinced that he was the lead of the Mafias.
