KIERA STEVENS’S POV

“Dad, how come suddenly you are back…” I stopped between my words, perplexed to see the unexpected guests at our guest room.

“Hi honey! Long time no see!” It was Alastair’s mother who welcomed me warmly. It was even more surprising that his dad was here. According to my far memories, they were at overseas.

Today, I just received a call from my father that he was done with his business in abroad. He wanted me home as soon as possible. So, I rushed over here without telling Luca. Both father and son were asleep. Thankfully, my dad believed in the excuse that I was living in an apartment, given from my agency.
