KIERA STEVENS’S POV

His deep voice replied gently, keeping his tone low in order to not wake up our son probably,

“He is asleep already! Why are you still awake now?”

I opened the curtains to let the fresh air, slip inside the room. The weather in L town was always chilly. The cold breeze brushed past my skin, raising goosebumps all over my skin. I bit my tongue hard to keep the answer inside. Honestly, I just missed them too much and didn’t feel sleepy at all.

I lied with a shrug, sitting on the couch,

“Maybe because I changed places. Is Ryan sleeping with you?”

He let out a low hum, replied with a helpless sigh,

“Hum! I don’t trust him with others. Only if he is in my sight, I will be at ease.”

My heart melted out of sweetness. He became a caring father day by day. I could say that Ryan also had become too close with Luca. He spent the day more with his father than me.

The wind from the window hit my nostrils hard, cooling my e
