"There is something, Kathryn. Show it to me; I want to see it." He told her as he tried to take her hand out again, but then she refused.

"If you’re not going to help me, Daniel, trust me, I can help myself." She told him, and he stared at her.

It seemed like as the days passed, he didn’t even know her anymore. With all the secrets she was keeping, he was beginning to doubt if he was actually even safe in his own house.

She took a deep breath as she stared at him. "Daniel, I’m sorry, but it really hurts when I say something and you don’t believe me." She told him.

"I’m not doubting you; you’re just making yourself look suspicious. I just want to see what it is; I swear I have seen it before." He told her as he started struggling with her to see her hand, but then she wouldn’t let him see it so easily, and in the process of struggling with him, she hit her hand against the sink, and she cried out in pain.

"Ah!" She cried as she held on to her hand.
