“I know her pretty well, Carter. At least, well enough to understand that she would not expose her plans like that.” Lara lets out, “Unless she is creating a trap, her moves remain hidden and best known to her.”

Standing up, Lara faces the beautiful garden adorned with beautiful flowers whose scent is masked by the sting of the hot sun, leaving only the smell of dry grass filling the atmosphere.

“Why do I feel like this is just a distraction from the bigger picture?” Lara asks no one in particular.
