“Where’s Isabella?” Dante asks me as soon as I walk into his house. I’m hundred percent sure this man would burn the entire world down for my sister. Dante Giuseppe. Who would have thought the great and scary Don would fall so hard and unexpectedly for a girl who wanted nothing to do with the mafia growing up?

However, I’m glad that Isabella has someone like him in her life. She hated our house. She always felt undervalued there and I was scared the same thing would happen to her with Dante but Dante but he has shown her more respect than she ever received living with my parents. I’m certain that he would always protect her.

“She’s at our house.” I answer.

“You left her there alone with your crazy mother?” Dante’s eyes widen with shock.

“Relax. She’ll be fine. She insisted on taking care of our father. He took a hit. He’s unconscious and our mother isn’t exactly in the right state of mind right now.” I explain as we walk in further
