Since Liam declined Frank’s offer to celebrate his release, Frank hadn’t called him again.

This only reinforced Liam’s suspicion.

Liam suspected that Frank was deliberately avoiding facing him, or that he had some sinister scheme in the works.

Liam and Frank had once been as close as brothers. It was hard to believe that Liam would one day harbor such negative and sinister thoughts about Frank, a man he thought he would trust for a lifetime.

Now, with Sarah urgently wanting to see him, Liam suddenly had a feeling that it might be related to that issue.

Given the circumstances, there was no way he could refuse. Some things, no matter how unpleasant, had to be faced and resolved.

After a moment of silence, Liam set aside his plan to inspect the kitchen and called his driver, Vitor, to take him to where Sarah was waiting.
