Chris thought so, feeling full of resentment and dissatisfaction. He had happily prepared to take over this tremendous asset, and now he felt dejected. A delicious piece of meat had been snatched away just as it reached his mouth.

"Did I say you could leave?" Theophilus said nonchalantly.

"Oh? Is that so?" Chris turned back and smiled at Theophilus: "I want to leave. Can you stop me? With your ragtag bunch?"
