Chapter 303
With those words, Theophilus yanked Drake from Hades' grip, tossing him onto the floor like a ragdoll. The ensuing thuds echoed eerily. Each blow rendered Drake more agonized than the last.
Subsequently, Theophilus pressed his foot onto Drake's face, causing another blood burst. The painful cries of Drake filled the room.
Beneath Theophilus's boot, Drake seethed, yet internally he lamented his misjudgment. The unassuming Jake was a force of nature, his blows akin to being crushed under a massive truck, rendering every organ shattered.
“Drake." Theophilus began, his voice piercing the air: "I’ll ask you again. I want Benedict. Will you hand him over?” His eyes bore into Drake's, cold and relentless.
"Huff!" Drake was panting heavily, a tremendous fear swelling within his heart. He couldn't muster the courage to look Theophilus directly in the eyes.
