Stormy POV

Alex hovered on top of me. The sound of my heart hammering against my chest filled the silent space. He stared into my eyes sternly for several seconds without uttering a word. Was he having second thoughts?

His skin pressed against mine was the only thing that gave my core rest. I couldn’t explain it I’d never felt this way before but it felt right. I wouldn’t give myself to anyone else. Especially after what he knew about me he was still here.

“You have the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen, Stormy.”

Heat rushed to my cheeks. “Despite the little blot?”

He chuckled. “That’s the part I like most and the chaos I see in them.”

He positioned himself between my legs and stroked my thighs. He was trying to get me comfortable. I ran my hands up his bare chest and placed my palms on his shoulders.
