“You sure this is a good idea?” Ryan asked.

“Nope, but I don’t care.” I put the car in park.

I wanted to be with Stormy but I was in front of the Pack House expecting to see Alpha Raymond I didn’t have an appointment and they made it clear I wasn’t welcome here, funny because this was my Pack and they had temporary seats.

“I need you to wait out here, just in case.”

Ryan nodded. “You got it Alpha.”

Ryan had a way of making himself blend into nature it was a skill not many of my men had, but he was always watching.

Let’s make this quick so I can return to my mate. I liked the sound of that, but I didn’t like that I was keeping things from her. She didn’t know about the injury that messed with my wolf. She didn’t know about the clock ticking on my life. What if Stormy doesn’t want anything to do with me when she finds out?

I couldn’t blame her. I was dying. Why would she put herself in that situation?
