Stormy POV

“Where’s Hazel?” I asked.

Elise tossed the pillows on her bed the next morning. I was getting tired of sleeping on the floor. I always woke up with aching bones but I wouldn’t trade this room with my friends for anything. Not in the institute anyway.

“She’s in therapy. She’s got it in her head that her Dad’s going to get her out soon.”

“You don’t sound convinced,” I said.

She flopped on the bed and stared at me. “I don’t want her to get her heart broken.”

“You don’t think he’s going to let her out. Hazel doesn’t feel like a wild child. She doesn’t deserve to be here.”

“Exactly! All she did was make one mistake in public and her Dad locked her in here and her Mother just watched like a useless idiot. Ugh, it makes me so mad that people like him have power do to whatever they want. I think part of his decision to lock her up was because she’s an omega wolf.”
