I felt the black scar that resembled burned skin draw itself on my skin. The one I would carry on my body for the rest of my life for losing my wolf.

She saw her death weeks ago. I should have taken it more seriously.

I should have sent her away and had her locked up until all this blew over.

“I’m not letting you die, Stormy. You might as well come back.”

I placed her limp body into the cold and deep blue moon pool water.

“You did not just give me the will to live and then die, Stormy. That’s a fucking cheat code.”

I found the sharpest rock and sliced my palm. I dropped my blood into the moon pool.
