Chapter 28

Katelyn’s POV

What happened? There can’t be anything wrong with Wyatt. There just can’t be. He isn’t supposed to get sick.

I ignore the people trying to speak to me while I run past them. Normally, I’m not this rude, but this can’t be happening. I have to get to him. I have to see what is wrong with him.

Mentally, I apologize to everyone as I push through. However, I can’t seem to open my mouth. If I do, I’m afraid nothing will come out or only my sobs.

My feet move even faster as I see the hospital come into view.

I can’t fight back the tears anymore as they begin to slowly slide down my face. For the first time since I found out Wyatt is in the hospital and is unconscious, my voice finally works. While I try to control the pain, I shout, “WYATT!”
