Book 3: Hera’s Back

Leandros’s POV 

“Why the f*ck did you have to bring her here? She’s underage, dammit! Couldn’t you have waited for her to grow up?” yelled Stavros, not understanding my point of view. I had to inform him about my return with Lyra, but ever since I arrived at his house, there’s been nothing but heated arguments. He refused to understand my situation. Could he refuse his mate if she pleaded for help?

“She’s just four months short, bro. How could I leave her there when this was her plan to escape her uncle?” Stavros stopped pacing the living room and glared at me in disbelief. 

“What do you mean, Leandros? I’m tired of covering up for you. Why can’t you grow up and learn to be responsible?” His allegations hurt me. I might be younger to him, but I was handling a successful business all on my own. How could he consider me irresponsible? I knew I used to live a reckless life once upon a time, but I had left it all behind years ago.
