Hazel’s POV
I stopped the car in front of the packhouse and gaped at the bonfire preparations taking place on the compound. “What are we celebrating?”
We emerged from the car only to notice Stavros right in front of us, watching me and Zander with barely concealed anger. Why was he always angry with me? Couldn’t he be normal even once?
“Stavros, what are we celebrating?” asked Hera, but he approached her with a grim look.
“Come with me, Hera. You’ll get hurt amidst this chaos.” He gestured towards the pack members running around, getting the bonfire ready.
I felt hurt when he simply ignored me and led Hera inside. I followed them with Alpha Zander hot on my heels. “Can’t you entertain yourself? I need to talk to my mate,” I gritted out at him.
