Book 4: Stavros Misunderstands Me
Hazel’s POV
The next morning, my body felt mowed down from all the hard work at the hospital last night. I hadn’t been able to rest for the last two days because of Aunt Cassie’s deteriorating health. Now that she was better, my body finally gave in and I overslept.
“You’re burning with fever, Hazel,” said Hera as she came in to check up on me. It was almost ten in the morning, yet I couldn’t even get up from bed.
“I’ll be fine. Have you had breakfast yet? I’m sorry, I couldn’t make something for you. There’s milk, cereals, and fruits if you can help yourself. I’ll surely make lunch.”
She sat down beside me with concern. “I’m just pregnant, Hazel. I’ve made breakfast for both of us. Why don’t you freshen up? You need some food in your system before taking medicine.”
