Book 4: A Special Return Gift

Hazel's POV

Everything Stavros did took my breath away. I stared at the sleek red Chevy right in front of me. “That’s your birthday gift. I want you to return Aunt Cassie’s car to her.”

I blinked at my gift with disbelief. My first car! I really needed it now that I had to go to school every day.

“Wow! I love it. How did you know I was considering buying a car?” I went forward to run my fingers over the smooth exteriors. I couldn’t wait to drive it. He smiled, and I knew he could feel everything in my mind and heart through the mate bond we shared.

“Test drive?” he asked, and I nodded, with a euphoric grin on my face. It was late, but I simply couldn’t sleep without a test drive. He handed me the keys and opened the driver’s side for me.
