Danica’s POV

Bianca and I decided to talk through the entire night. We literally shared all the funny, weird, and scary experiences we had while we were apart and how she’d gone crazy thinking I was really gone for good and she hadn’t gotten to see my corpse.

That’s how crazy my dear friend could be.

She had risked her own safety all the way here to see my corpse. It sounded crazy and we’d practically laughed it off but deep down, I knew I would do the same. Hell, mine might be even worse than just climbing the tall secured windows of the Pack house.

About how she found me or how she knew I was in here, apparently, she had been around here not too long after I walked into a bittersweet trap. She had been stuck trying to sniff me out but had failed for hours. Just as she gave up… or decided to give up, she’d started to leave with slumped shoulders to find a place to sleep safely until the next day when she planned to confront Alpha Alexander himself.
