Danica’s POV

Dinner took forty five minutes in total, including the time the two men spent gawking at each other’s words. And at the end of it, Alexander led me out like a true princess that deserves his attention.

“Did you like my gift?” He asked as we stepped into the dark night, his hand holding my smaller ones protectively. He didn’t have to ask into detail for me to know exactly what he was talking about.

“I did. A little too much that it made me tear up,” I told him truthfully.

“Good. Because I have something else for you.”

“An offer? To watch the stars with me tonight,” he said right before he stopped walking to stare at my face even through the darkness.
