Afhany was surprised by the presence of those reapers at the evening meal table, but she didn't say anything. After all, they were like family. Except Deline. She didn't understand her presence, but she treated her well, like a good hostess. They drank wine while Moses, who was always late, didn't arrive to start the meal. She thought they should call the guardians and Lenda too, but they didn't trust anyone else to look after the children. She was sorry it had to be this way, because they were family too.
