Chapter 314. Disagreement (1)

Mentor woke up and realized it must be late. He changed quickly and went to have breakfast. His mother, Ellis and his grandparents were already there and didn't wait for him to start breakfast. He sat down and looked around.

"Where's Liã?"

"She was called in very early by her superior. She didn't even wait for breakfast." Eliza replied indifferently.

"But will she be back for the afternoon meal?" Mentor asked, worried that he wouldn't be able to talk to her in time for her to meet his son, forgetting that Thomas had said he wouldn't be able to see her until the next day.

"It doesn't matter, what time she'll be back or if she'll be back at all." Don João said rudely. "You and your mother want to deprive me of my chance to live and you think I'm going to tolerate you staying in this castle? I want you to find another place, far away from my kingdom, and take your mother with you!"

"Has Liã heard about your decision?" Eliza asked quietly, unperturbed.
