They heard a loud laugh and all looked towards the door of the room, where the sound was coming from.

"Mentor?" Mary asked confused.

"Try again." He said with his red eyes and wings opening, as if they had a will of their own.

"Elgin!" Samael asked stunned.

"You've made a mistake again." He said smiling and looked at Maureen. "Don't you want to make your attempt?"

"He's the god of the other world." Maureen said gravely.

The creature applauded.

"You must be wondering why I look like Mentor... Maureen, do you want to explain?"

Maureen remained silent.

"Typical." The creature said and turned its eyes to Sigrid. "I did everything I could not to have to take this action... But I'm going to explain a few things before I let you have your happily ever after." He said and sat down next to Sigrid, who stared at him indifferently.<
