Moses couldn't hear anything else, all he could think about was Afhany. Kreyer had the same green eyes and fire-colored hair as Afhany.

"Then why doesn't Afhany have wings like you? Not even the same skin?"

"She is half human. She will never know how great her power is, until her daughter is in danger. That is what Kreyer wishes. That she unleash her power, to destroy me."

"And that would destroy you?"

"I don't know. Not even Kreyer is sure it would destroy me. But either way, he will make her power a weapon against me."

"Kreyer is your father, and who would be your mother?"

"We don't have a mother. He raised us, he said, through too much power, which made him weak from spreading his power so many times. He is not stronger than me in power, but he does not care about the people he will hurt in this war, I do."

"Do you doubt that he created you?"
