“Why don’t we go to the supermarket? We’re running low on groceries, and the kids have grown taller, so we need to buy some clothes,” Liliana suggested, brightening up.
Stephen, noticing that Liliana didn’t seem very focused, took her hand and said, “That sounds good. What about the kids?”
“Lyly said the kids are very smart and can learn a lot at the company,” Stephen replied, hugging Liliana’s shoulder as they entered the supermarket.
Stephen instinctively pushed the shopping cart while Liliana and he shopped for groceries.
“Brother, it’s been a while since we last met,” Chatta said, swaying her soft waist and approaching Stephen and Liliana. Although she desperately wanted to tear Liliana apart, she forced herself to hold back.
Her mother had always said, “The men who are the hardest to get are the best ones.” So, she had to pretend that she had no feelings for Stephen anymore. Liliana, in her opinion, would be repelled by such an attitude.
