Chapter 393
Stephen squinted his eyes at the phone, trying to see through Christina’s facade. In a normal situation, he would never have laughed. If he did, it meant only one of two things: either the person wasn’t normal or they had a hidden agenda.
Stephen concluded that Christina had ulterior motives. “Can I see your message?” he asked while holding the phone.
Christina wasn’t in a hurry. She trusted her phone, which had seven or eight layers of security; there was no way he could see her messages.
“Password?” Stephen questioned as he held her phone.
Christina remained silent, swallowing her saliva. She replied, “This is my personal secret, Stephen. Weren’t you the one who used to emphasize the importance of personal privacy?”
