Chapter 39
"Uh, I think I need to go number two."
Maya's head shot up instantly, "What?"
"I said I need to go-"
She waved a hand, dismissing the rest of his statement, "Can't it wait? I don't think I'm ready to hit the road yet."
"Well, I could drive him home if you'd like." Derek softly offered but he shook his head quickly.
"No! I need to go and I need to go, NOW!" Jason's face was scrunched up in pain, his arms wound protectively around his middle.
She eyed him suspiciously, this could be another trick of his to get her and Derek togethed alone for some reason, but when she opened her mouth to call Jason out on it, Derek beat her to the punch.
"There should be a stall at the back, use the first one. It's the cleanest. We'll wait until you get back."
Jason shot Derek a grateful smile and unceremoniously clambered to his feet, "Thanks. You're the best, man." He ruffled a hand through Derek's hair and then he left in a hurry. As soon as he disapp
