Chapter 77
The engine died and they were submerged in darkness once more. Her eyes were glued on the small apartment ahead, the entire area was empty and she didn't know if her friends were back home already.
"This is me." She whispered, turning to face him. Although his face was hidden in the shadows, she could still make out the faint outline of his nose, eyes and lips.
He shifted on the leather seat and helped her unbuckle the seatbelt strapped to her front, "Goodnight, foxy." He was close now, close enough for her to feel his cool breath fanning her face,
"Good night." She repeated slowly. Her eyes glued on his plump lips.
Their time at the park, although short-lived, was a memory she'd never forget. Maya couldn't remember the last time she had fun like that. Alex was a different person too, he teased and flirted with her. He said things that made the butterflies in her tummy rage wild and then they danced.
It was an incredibly silly thing for him
