Chapter 3. Reborn

Moira’s eyes widened as she stared at him blankly before slowly falling on her back.

Ashley raised her head, and Moira didn’t know if it was because death was near, but she could see Ashley’s eyes emitting a strange black mist that dissipated almost instantly.

Tyler’s eyes widened as he stared at the woman he had just… stabbed.

She was staring at him with complicated expressions, hatred, regret, sadness, pain, named it all, they all intertwined in her green eyes as life was slowly leaving her body.

“You little bitch! It is your honor that I am willing to use you for a night, yet you did not know what is good for you and dared to reject me. See how I torture you!” an incoherent voice belonging to a woman could be heard.

It was under a huge tree, and the sky was covered with a canvas of black with countless stars as its companion. A woman’s figure could be seen, and when one looked carefully, one could see the figure of another woman being pressed under her.

The woman on top was holding a bottle of wine in her hand as she drank the last sip before abandoning the bottle to the side and then bending forward to suck on the woman’s neck.

“She is even sweeter than wine,” the woman murmured before fondling the breast of the woman below her.

“Hmm,” the woman’s moan could be heard, along with the chirping of the insects.

The woman below slowly opened her eyes, and her dense eyelashes fluttered slightly as her eyes landed on the woman on top of her.

The woman below was instantly jolted awake as she gave the woman on top of her a kick, landing the woman some meters away.

Closing her jacket, Moira shivered as she looked at the woman who was charging towards her with messy steps.

Frowning, as soon as the woman was about to land on her, Moira swiftly grabbed the big stone she saw at the side and smacked the woman’s head with it, using all her strength, causing the woman to slowly close her eyes as she slumped to the side.

“Where am I?” Moira frowned as her eyes surveyed the unfamiliar surroundings.

The last thing she could remember was… Suddenly, countless images that did not belong to her started entering her memory, causing her to feel as if someone was hammering her head.

After a while, she slowly slid down and sat on the ground with a blank expression, her eyes reflecting horror.

She has become someone else!

She slowly raised her hand and looked at the arm. It was shorter and thinner than hers. No accessories, nothing.

The owner of the body, Evangeline, was a timid girl of age 17. She was a maid Omega in the Full Moon Pack, also known as the King Pack, the pack that rules all over the other packs, and whose Alpha was known as Alpha King Damien.

Suddenly, a ghostly smile filled Moira’s lips as she stood up and looked at the half-moon in the sky before whispering.

“Thank you for giving me another chance, Moon Goddess.”

She didn’t spare the woman on the ground a glance as she stood up and walked to where the original owner of the body resided.

After walking for a while, she finally saw the building.

The house was exceptionally large and was painted black and white, and behind it was an enormous tree whose branches snaked around the house like cobwebs.

If it were Moira of the past, she would have frowned a little, but now, the last thing she needed was excessive pride.

She walked to the building and saw a young woman pacing back and forth, and the moment the woman heard her footsteps, she turned around before walking toward her, her gaze filled with worry and concern.

“Gina, are you alright? I heard you got a fever. I was worried sick.” The girl said, rushing to her and holding onto Evangeline’s wrist.

Moira felt warm suffuse in her heart, but she suddenly jerked awake. The concern wasn’t meant for her; it was meant for Evangeline. The discovery made her feel a bit sad, but she still smiled.

Now, the real Evangeline is no more; it is Moira, but she, Moira, was dead to others, and so, Moira is now Evangeline, and Evangeline is Moira. Thus, she deserves everything.

She smiled at the young girl in front of her, who also seemed to be around seventeen and who happened to be Evangeline’s only friend, Amanda.

“Amanda, what are you doing out here late in the night? Don’t you feel cold?” she asked as she took the latter to their shared room.

“Of course I am, but whose fault is this? I just returned from helping in the kitchen only to find out that you are not in here. I was worried that something bad might have happened to you, but I am glad you are here. Are you alright now? Should we go to the head maid and ask for some medicine?”

“Nah, I am fine now; I just went to get some fresh air outside but happened to doze off. Weird right? Hahaha,” Evangeline lied as she entered the room.

The room was just like how Moira had pictured it: it was spacious enough, with only four bags and two bunk beds, and occupying two beds were two girls, who were already sleeping. The moment Evangeline entered the room, she knew she would not have a good night because the combined snore of the two girls was more than enough to wake even a sleeping lion.

Amanda did not think much and just jumped into her bed before saying to her. “Goodnight.”

“Goodnight.” Evangeline smiled as she looked through the small window, and she could hear the small snores coming from Amanda.

Gazing at the night, a smile spread on Evangeline’s lips. She would definitely take her revenge in this new life.
