Eros Nikolaou's POV
“Have you informed your father, Eros?” asked my nanny, Theia Stavridis. She had no family and had cared for me like her own, selflessly, for the last thirty-one years. I always looked upon her like a mother and still do. She never left me, even when I outgrew the need for a nanny. Even when I moved out of my dad’s house, she visited me frequently.
But today, I sought her help with the wedding preparations. Just as I had expected, my dad, Homer Nikolaou, wasn’t at home. It wasn’t something new. Since the day he had adopted me, he was always absent from my life.
But I wasn’t complaining. He was the only one who adopted me when my biological parents dumped me on his doorstep at birth. I still had no idea who my actual parents were. It was the harsh reality of my life.
Not that Homer Nikolaou, my dad, loved me. He adopted me for a motive and left me in Theia’s care. He needed an heir to get access to his fath
