I smiled watching my fiancé play with Knox’s children, Zane and Angel, on the volcanic black sand of Kamari Beach in Santorini. It had been a sudden plan to visit Santorini before heading to Zion’s beach villa on the Athenian Riviera for their wedding. 

“Have you come here before?” asked Danielle, sitting beside me with her drink. 

“No, how about you?” I was afraid to open up much in case she found out about me. I was still hiding from my dad. Killian informed me about my dad’s visit to his headquarters in LA. How did he know so much about Killian? Did they know one another? 

“No. This is my first visit here.” 

I liked Danielle. She was totally the opposite of what Knox was. Yet they were so much in love with one another. I wanted that type of love in my life. Why couldn’t Killian love me? Why was our relationship so complicated?
