Iris served him breakfast, but he hardly glanced her way.
“No, Mr. Harold, I want the report emailed to me right away.”
It relieved her. The thought of facing him after last night had bothered her all night. How could he look so unaffected, as if they hadn’t connected last night so intimately?
Had it meant nothing to him? Maybe he was used to these hook-ups.
Why did it hurt her to see him so aloof?
