Azeeva’s POV

The captain lowered the anchor. My father jumped off the deck first. He ensured the situation was safe even if Lim’s Guards were there. But the people behind him couldn’t be trusted.

I would have taken the second turn if Justin hadn’t rushed me. He did that so I’d have a handle.

“Thank you for your effort, but let alone jumping. I can fly,” I said, cautiously descending the sloping board.

“Precisely that. You were free at Paramour, so I was worried.”

We walked on the pier. Behind Justin and I, the other REDCA kids decided on today’s hunting targets. Arkan whined about wanting rabbit, and they complied. Damn. The guys in the back forgot even to ask their own omega opinions.

“What do you want to eat?” I asked, giving my attention to Justin.

“Hm…” Justin linked his hands behind his back. “Anything goes.”

“Fine, I’ll cook you premium roast beef!” I exclaimed, deliberately raising my voice.

“Huh, beef?” Arkan thrus
