Chapter 87. Way Back Home
Azeeva’s POV
In my foggy, blurry vision, I saw myself, already covered in blood, crashing through the wooden cage door. A sudden silence engulfed me, followed by a buzzing sound that made my head spin.
This was dreamland.
I stepped out, just stepped out without direction, away from that cursed place. My mind was blank for a moment before the weeds made the sound of someone’s footsteps approaching me. I was still downcast, so a pair of tiny shoes with robots was still visible.
Finally, my motivation to raise my head appeared. The streak of a relieved, carefree smile crossed my face. I kept staring at him blankly even though his hand started to rise. What will this brother do? I wondered.
Suddenly, her gentle caress landed on the top of my head.
“Before becoming a goddess in nirvana, my mother always stroked my hair whenever I did something good. I’ll do it to you, little brother!” she exclaimed cheerfully.
