Chapter 148. The Daddies

Queen Rain's POV

As I look at my sons with their mates in their arms, flashes of not-so-good memories from the distant past flash across my retina.

I picture the day Ralph confessed before the Moon Goddess. It was also the last day of his life, as my wolf would not accept any deception, nor was she willing to spare him when he threatened the well-being of our pups.

“Rain, I committed adultery. On the night of you gave birth to the pups, I slept with an unknown she-wolf.”

Selene had not only ended Ralph's lineage, but by rendering him sterile, she had effectively eliminated any possibility of reproduction. But the facts are that Claire had sex with him and here she is with twins who are the same age as my sons. Their features are very similar to Ralph's. Thick blonde hair, a long slender figure, and a delicate jaw bone structure are a perfect match. And the time frame is correct, these girls may well be fathered by my late mate.
