Chapter 161

Richard's POV

"Let's split up so that things would be fast," I said. 

I was hoping she would agree to it and fortunately, she did. 

"When you find them, make sure you go to report to the Alpha immediately. The Alpha would be at the border of the city," she explained.

I understand her words, I know what she is actually thinking. She is scared of getting caught, I am also scared of getting caught.

"Okay.. no problem,"I said. She nodded her head and paced forward while I focused on my movement immediately.

I paced gently, scanning my eyes to count the doors I have before me. 'Damn it! This is ten doors.'

I heave at the count of it all. I am tired and weary at that moment, but I know it's something I can't avoid. 

That's what we are here for and I mustn't waste time. That monster of a woman could suddenly show up at any time. I must be really quick.

I paced gently to the first door. Getting inside, I saw it was empty.
