Chapter 76
"About what happened in prison, don't you want to tell me anything?" Matthew took the initiative to ask.
At this point, Matthew had parked the car after passing through layers of doors. In front of them were sturdy buildings. The exterior may not be pleasing to the eye, but it gave a feeling of immense security.
"You know, too?" Gabriel suddenly clenched his hand into a fist.
He tried to suppress his body trembling, but something in his subconscious, something he didn't understand why, made him so afraid.
"I don't know, I'm asking you. I hope... you can tell me yourself.” Matthew said without looking at Gabriel. He pushed the door into a dark room, in front of which was a bulletproof glass pane.
Behind the glass, Whelan was being held, his limbs chained with large iron chains connected to a power source.
"This is an unlawful detention, and you're mad." Gabriel stepped back a few paces.
