Chapter 29. Look at Gabriella

Javier's POV

The clock may be heard ticking away with its familiar tic and tack sound. I was looking at it. I've been holding out hope that Gabriella will return, but she hasn't done so as of yet. Where exactly was Lolita's house located? And what did they do to her that caused her to be delayed in returning to the palace?

"Where is she?" While I was milling about close to the entrance, I asked myself. Following the conclusion of brunch, I eagerly anticipated her arrival back in the Palace. I cannot wait to see her, and when I do, I can't wait to grab her by the hand and give her a bear hug. My capacity for happiness seemed to have no limits. I feel as though I'm floating above the ground; I don't know how to explain what I'm experiencing, but one thing was certain: I'm the happiest guy on the face of the earth right now as a direct result of the fantastic news that was delivered today.
