Chapter 30. Javier and Amanda's Wedding Is Going to Go Ahead

Javier's POV

I was hoping to hear some good news about Gabriella, so I kept glancing out the window of my room to check if anyone had seen her or if they knew where she was.

What took place was beyond my ability to comprehend completely. I asked them to look into who the werewolves were that assaulted Gabriella, but they came up empty-handed in their search for evidence. The masks that were shown in the woods were useless because they could not identify their identities from them.

It was also a major mystery to me why they would want to kill Gabriella; was it because she was my Luna, or was there some other explanation for their actions?

When I spoke to Eury, she told me that Gabriella did not have any enemies, and I was aware of this fact because I had observed her and taken in everything about her. However, I thought about what Eury had previously told me about Amanda and how Gabriella was blamed for Amanda's poisoning.
